Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Oi Comrade Jonathan Price it is me not you who is of the manual labouring classes

I describe how my role in the garden at the Welsh Hovel moved from a purely managerial one today so our resident Euro loon really can’t out working class me today. Only kidding Jonathan, I know you really are an oik. In the main podcast I look at Supply@ME Capital (SYME), Greatland Gold (GGP) – great grades shame about the sleazy option news Mr Alex Borelli – Wishbone Gold (WSBN), Eurasia Mining (EUA) and car crash in waiting Zoetic (ZOE). I also look again at Gamestop and who really areb the good and bad guys. There are a lot of financially illiterate commentators talking bollocks on this matter.

Metal Tiger & BMR Group Non Merger: the real story?

I realise that there are some out there calling for the head of Alex Borelli after the failed merger attempt between Metal Tiger (MTR) and BMR (BMR), two companies where he is the CEO. I admit it all looks odd. But my initial position is based on the assumption that Borelli saved BMR, going in after the previous boss stole all the cash. Fundamentally he is a good and honest man so surely he would not do anything dodgy. Having dug around I put to you another hypothesis.

Video Interview from Gold & Bears with BMR Mining

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Slater & Gordon and Quindell special

In this podcast I start with a few words on Berkeley Mineral Resources and its quite amazing statement of yesterday (HERE). Hats off to Alex Borelli but why is no-one going to prison?  I then go onto look at Slater & Gordon in light of a very interesting piece of research pubished in Australia overnight by Merrill Lynch on S&G post the Quindell deal.

Berkeley Minerals – Surely someone needs to go to jail? I have a suggestion

Shares in AIM casino listed Berkeley Minerals (BMR) remain suspended as forensic analysts investigate the scope of the accounting black hole within the company but, following an RNS today, we know that the quantum is not £4.3 million as previously announced by £11 million. Surely jail time beckons and I have a nomination to make.

I have spoken to new CEO Alex Borelli and, though we have crossed swords in the past, I really do feel rather sorry for him. He has inherited a rat’s nest from the former Executive Chairman Masoud Alikhani who quit on October 20th citing health reasons. The word on the street is that he has Alzheimer’s but I am afraid that I have no sympathy for him.
